Tracey O’Brien, Paralegal

Tracey O'Brien

Biography

Tracey was born in downtown Charleston and grew up in Hanahan, South Carolina.  In her high school years, she started working in the jewelry industry, where she honed her love for detail-oriented work and client relations.  After high school, Tracey went onto Stewart’s International School for Jewelers where she obtained a certification for Jewelry Repair and Diamond Setter.  Tracey’s years in the jewelry industry allowed her to connect with people on a deep, personal level – an attribute she is proud to offer clients at Tong Law Firm.

Unexpectedly, in 1997, Tracey’s friend recruited her for a position in the legal field, which changed her professional trajectory forever.  She accepted her first paralegal position with a local firm, focusing on personal injury and workers’ compensation.  Throughout her career, Tracey has worked for various reputable law firms in the Lowcountry and comes to Tong Law Firm with over 25 years of experience.

Although a proficient and talented paralegal, Tracey views her greatest accomplishment as raising her now-23 year old son and watching his own career, as a skilled chef, flourish.  In her free time, Tracey is a foodie, self-proclaimed wine connoisseur, and loves taking naps on rainy Sunday afternoons.
